Terms of sale

These are the terms for buying from Surfscrews ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them. They don't affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
The products
We sell surfboard fin grub screws: the Original (standard thread, for Futures & FCS fin systems) and the Rescue (oversize, coarse cutting thread, for re-threading a stripped fin box). Machined in England to the tolerances described on the site. Futures and FCS are trademarks of their respective owners; we make screws that fit them, nothing more.
Ordering and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling as shown at checkout. Payment is taken by Stripe when you place the order; your contract with us forms when we post your parcel. If we can't fulfil an order (wrong price shown, out of stock, address we can't deliver to), we'll refund it in full and tell you why.
Delivery
UK orders ship free by Royal Mail Tracked 24. Orders placed before 3pm on a working day are normally posted the same day; Tracked 24 usually arrives the next working day, though that's Royal Mail's aim rather than a guarantee. We only deliver to UK addresses at present. If a parcel goes missing in the post, contact us and we'll chase the tracking and make it right.
Cancellations and returns
You can cancel for any reason within 14 days of delivery and return the goods for a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Email hello@surfscrews.co.ukand we'll sort the details; return postage for a change-of-mind cancellation is on you. If anything arrives faulty or not as described, we'll refund or replace it including postage — your Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights apply in full.
Sensible limits
Fit your fins with reasonable care: seat the screw, nip it snug, don't hulk it. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for damage caused by misuse or for losses unrelated to the products themselves. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law says it can't be limited.
The boring essentials
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If one clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stand. Questions: hello@surfscrews.co.uk.
